Remittances to Georgia rise 14% yr/yr to $207 mln in October-central bank
Remittances to Georgia rose 13.7 percent year-on-year to $206.7 million in October the country’s central bank said.
Russia ranks first among countries with $36.3 million of money transfers, followed by Italy ($33.1 million) and the United States ($23.7 million).
In October 2021, $30.3 million were sent abroad from Georgia, 26.9 percent more than in October last year.
