Remittances to Uzbekistan rise to $2 billion as of May 1-Central Bank
Remittances to Uzbekistan rose by 34 percent year-on-year to $1.99 billion in the first four months of the year, the Central Bank said.
Money transfers in January stood at $427 million, in February – at $464 million, in March – at $525 million and in April – at $577 million.
The volume of money transfers from Uzbekistan abroad reached $478 million in January-April.
