The authorities are preparing to disconnect Russia from the worldwide SWIFT payment system by creating an alternative. This was announced by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with RIA Novosti, Total.kz reported.

“A base has been created in Russia for an alternative to SWIFT. I am convinced that the government and the Central Bank must do everything to ensure that this base is reliable, guarantees security, complete independence and a guarantee against the damage that may be inflicted on us, ”the head of the diplomatic department said.
