The North Atlantic Alliance has given Russian diplomats stripped of NATO accreditation until the end of the month to leave Brussels. This was reported by Sky News, the press service of the Alliance confirmed this information.
“We can confirm that NATO has decided to reduce the number of diplomatic accreditations that the Russian Federation can have with NATO to 10 (previously there were 20 – NEWS.ru) . We can confirm that we have revoked the accreditation of eight members of the Russian mission to NATO” – stated TASS in the Alliance.
He added that those deprived of accreditation are, according to the alliance, Russian intelligence officers, whose status has not been notified. At the same time, NATO’s policy towards Russia remains consistent.
