Uzbekistan plans to ensure a 7.0 percent growth in GDP this year and the government has tasked itself to increase the volume of production in all sectors of the economy.

Azerbaijan has reduced gold production by 2.7 percent year-on-year to 2.608 tonnes in January-September, production of silver rose by 7.7 percent.

Gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 11.3 percent year-on-year in January-September after contracting 5.0 percent in the same period last year.
