In 2003 Kocharli opened her first bookstore on fountain square in downtown Baku. She christened her first store Ali & Nino after the popular classic Azerbaijani novel, about a romance between a Muslim Azerbaijani boy and Christian Georgian girl in Baku during the years 1918–1920.

Robakidze’s platform to create straightforward and clear API documentation became extremely popular and so she teamed up with fellow Georgian Maria Doliashvili to start Theneo.

In 2009, with the support of an angel investor, Zafar Hoshimov, founder of one of Uzbekistan’s biggest supermarket chains, Paiziev’s company became the first in Uzbekistan to receive a mapping licence.
