Since February 1, in connection with the change in the subsistence minimum budget (BPM) per capita, social pensions, allowances and increases, additional payments to pensioners over the age of 75 have been recalculated, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
The BPM from February 1 to April 30, 2022 is set at Br296.55. The new BPM on average per capita increased by 3% compared to the standard in force from November 1 last to January 31 this year. The payments listed above increase proportionately.
The monthly supplement to the pensions of non-working pensioners in February-April for people aged 80 and over will be Br74.14, for those aged 75 to 80 – Br55.61. The allowance for care for disabled people of group I will be Br74.14, pensioners who have reached the age of 80 – Br37.07.
Social pensions (assigned in case of non-receipt of a labor pension) will increase as follows: for disabled people of group I, including disabled people from childhood – up to Br326.21, for disabled people from childhood of group II – Br281.72, for disabled people of group II (except for disabled people from childhood), children in case of loss of a breadwinner for each child – Br252.07, disabled persons of group III – Br222.41, persons older than the generally established retirement age (for women – 60 years, men – 65) – Br148.28, disabled children under the age of 18 with varying degrees of loss of health – from Br237.24 to Br326.21. Also, the parents of disabled children who have reached the retirement age, who previously had the third, fourth degree of loss of health, and then recognized as disabled from childhood of group I, provided that they have been caring for such children for at least 20 years, also receive social pensions, the amount of which has increased to Br291.33.
The allowance for caring for a disabled person of group I or a person who has reached the age of 80 will increase to Br296.55 (in case of caring for one such person) and to Br355.86 (for two or more).
