UNESCO has included the Kazakh State National Natural Park “Kulsay Kulderi” in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves. This decision was made at the 33rd session of the International Coordinating Council of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program. This was reported by MIA “Kazinform” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources.
Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the Kazakhstani application “Kulsay kulderi” was prepared in conditions of restrictions associated with the difficult epidemiological situation in the country and in the world.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the staff of the administration of the State National Natural Park “Kulsay Kulderi”, the National Network of Biosphere Reserves of the UNESCO “Man and the Biosphere” program in Kazakhstan was replenished with another biosphere reserve.
