Today, December 22, shots were fired at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. This was reported by the press service of the border service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to preliminary data, a Kyrgyz citizen was driving a KamAZ along the Maksat-Zhashtyk highway in the Leilek region, which runs along the line of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border. The driver stopped to draw water from the ditch. At that time, three Tajik servicemen approached him, got into a car and demanded to go to the territory of Tajikistan. The driver continued driving along the road with Tajik border guards.
To attract attention, the driver unexpectedly blocked the path of another car, which was driving along the same road, and managed to shout that he was detained by the Tajik military.
