On Thursday, the Armenian government decided to allocate 60.6 million drams for the creation of educational complexes in 13 settlements of the country.
As Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan stated at the meeting, the project proposes to provide the Ministry with 67.125 million drams from the government’s reserve fund.
“Of this amount, 60.6 million drams are planned to be directed to the creation of educational complexes in 13 settlements in order to ensure the availability of quality educational services in rural settlements of the enlarged Kapan community,” he said.
Dumanyan noted that among these settlements are Achanan, Okhtar, Artsvanik, Geghanush, Syunik, Yeghek, Tsav, Chakaten, where educational complexes will be reconstructed; in the villages of Nerkin Akn and Shikahogh the buildings of the complexes will be built; and in the villages of Verin Khotanan, David Bek and Yeghvard, construction of modular buildings is envisaged.
