The Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported on the evening of April 4 that the military had set up positions for firing on bridges, crossings and railway lines. Earlier it became known that the forest in the Yelsk region was completely closed for Belarusians. What’s happening?
“Belarusian servicemen continue to carry out tasks to strengthen the protection of sections of the State Border. Guards are provided by paratroopers, artillerymen, motorised riflemen, crews of unmanned aerial systems,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
They said that “the units took under heavy guard especially important objects – bridges, crossings, railway lines. They are equipped with positions for firing small arms and military equipment.”
And they noted that “the tasks are carried out in cooperation with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and units of the border service.”
