The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate 2 billion soms from the state budget to provide the country with fuel. This was announced on March 24 at a government meeting on anti-crisis measures by Finance Minister Almaz Baketaev.
“There is a risk of providing fuel and lubricants (POL). In this direction, to provide fuel and lubricants, there will be an order to allocate 2 billion soms for oil traders to provide fuel and lubricants,” Baketaev said.
He also said that 1.5 billion soms had previously been allocated from the budget for the purchase of seeds for the seed fund.
“In terms of energy security, for two months of 2022, 3 billion soms of a budget loan were allocated from the budget. Calculations are being made to increase the salaries of state employees,” Baketaev added.
