One of the organizers of the car assembly production, controlling shareholder and chairman of the board of directors of the Bipek Auto – Asia Auto group of companies, Anatoly Balushkin, has been put on the wanted list in Kazakhstan. Information about his search as a criminal is posted in the information service of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the information provided, Balushkina is wanted by the Department of State Revenues in the East Kazakhstan region. At the same time, it is indicated that the wanted person fled from the investigation.
Anatoly Balushkin is the controlling shareholder of Asia Auto JSC and BIPEK Auto Kazakhstan JSC.
In 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan terminated the industrial assembly agreement with Bipek Auto – Asia Auto. The department demanded the return of preferences and benefits in the amount of $ 405 million (more than 174 billion tenge), which the company had received since 2010.
