Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the allocation of 6 billion rubles to the regions for payments to low-income families. Social benefits will go to children from three to seven years old. This will be in addition to the previously allocated 305 billion rubles, he said on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.
“We will send more than six billion rubles to the regions . In addition to almost 305 billion rubles that have already been allocated this year. This kind of support is very important. After all, we are talking about small children who grow up in families where there are material difficulties” – stressed the head of the cabinet.
According to him, such families, depending on their financial situation, receive monthly payments ranging from 50% to 100% of the regional subsistence minimum per child. Mishustin noted that this year the government has improved support measures so that families who really need help receive help.
