The connection of the Ukrainian energy system to the single energy system of the European Union may take place within a week.

This was stated by the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko during the All-Ukrainian telethon.

“Now the technical state of synchronization is coming to an end. Literally everything will be over one day. And we are very optimistic and look forward to our accession in the coming week,” he said.

The Minister also added that due to the shelling of the occupiers, Ukraine’s energy infrastructure suffered significant losses.

“In fact, it is tens of billions of hryvnias. We have seen these figures before. But, of course, we will rebuild it after our victory. We will make our energy system even more reliable, even more modern, and it will meet modern European standards. that we will be part of a single energy system with the European Union,” he said.
