Finance Minister Yerulan Zhamaubayev asks to consider the issue of lifting the postponement of inspections on micro and small businesses. He said this on Thursday during a government meeting.
According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, a three-year postponement on inspections of small businesses, introduced in 2020, has reduced cash discipline.
“Unscrupulous entrepreneurs perceived this initiative as a chance to evade taxes with impunity. In this regard, we propose to consider the issue of lifting the postponement on inspections of micro and small businesses,” Zhamaubayev suggested.
In general, he believes, the proposed measures will ensure an increase in state budget revenues.
