The working visit of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to our country began this evening, the press service of the head of Tatarstan reports.

At the international airport of the capital, he was met by: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov and Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Foreign Economic Relations, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of our republic Sardor Umurzakov.

According to the press service, the president of Tatarstan is waiting for a very busy schedule of meetings with representatives of business circles and officials from the government of Uzbekistan.

But there is also a key event, for which Rustam Minnikhanov flew to Uzbekistan to participate – he and the Tatar delegation will participate in laying the first stone in the construction of the Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark, which will be built in close cooperation with the Kazan Technopolis Technograd. In the future, the Uzbek technopark will be engaged in the production of petrochemical and chemical products with high added value that meet international quality standards.
