Kyrgyz oil traders said on March 31 that the price of fuel in the country will remain at the same level. They told about it at a meeting in the State Antimonopoly Service.
According to them, the price of fuel will not change yet, because they previously bought fuels and lubricants at a high dollar exchange rate. They added that under these contracts, fuel is still supplied to the country.
The State Antimonopoly asked oil traders to lower the price of fuel after selling the balances bought at a high exchange rate.
The service added that Kyrgyzstan is provided with diesel fuel for the next three months, and gasoline – for a month.
Earlier in the day, the president of the Association of Oil Traders, Kanat Eshatov, told Akchabar that the price of fuel could fall amid a strengthening of the exchange rate.
