IFC loan, denominated in Uzbek soums, will provide the bank with access to long-term financing in local currency, limited in the market due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the government resolution, approved in May this year, citizens aged 18 and over and who take more than 10,000 steps a day can receive money rewards as part of the wider state programme to encourage people for sports and healthy lifestyle.

The volume of attracted foreign direct investment for the implementation of the project is estimated at $140 million.
