The Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries in Turkmenistan plans to produce jet fuel of the Jet A-1 brand, which is the European analogue of the TS-1 fuel produced by the enterprise, Turan news agency reported.

The enterprise announced a tender for implementing the project. Jet A-1 is intended for use in gas turbine engines of aircraft in Europe and North America.

The Turkmenbashi complex includes oil refineries, two factories, numerous oil depots and filling stations. The complex produced 34,857 tonnes of aviation fuel in January-February 2021.
