The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, expressed his readiness to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at any time, News.ru said.
“Definitely [ready]. Even today. I have something to say to Putin and something to turn to Kremlin politicians” he said in answer to a question on Ukraine 24 TV channel.
The politician said that the Russian side is “hysterically fanning” hatred for Kiev, News.ru reported.
On April 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy addressed Putin. He offered to meet on the territory of hostilities in Donbass.
The politician said that on April 19, at a meeting of political advisers of the Normandy Four countries (Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany), the Russian Federation made a proposal to meet on the contact line in Donbass in order to understand the situation as accurately as possible. He expressed his readiness to “go even further” and hold negotiations “anywhere in the Ukrainian Donbass, where there is a war.”
