It is planned to create a record gas reserve in an underground gas storage facility in Armenia by the coming winter. This is reported by TASS with reference to the decision of the board of “Gazprom”.
According to the report, 0.107 billion cubic meters of “blue fuel” will be pumped into the underground gas storage facility in Armenia before the start of the winter season.
Gazprom’s board instructed to create a record gas reserve of 72.662 billion cubic meters in Russian underground gas storage facilities by next winter.
“For the reliable operation of the UGSS (Unified Gas Supply System) in the autumn-winter period of 2022-2023, the Management Board instructed the specialized divisions and subsidiaries: by the beginning of the next withdrawal season, create an operational gas reserve in UGS facilities in Russia in the amount of 72.662 billion cubic meters, and also increase potential maximum daily productivity of up to 852.4 million cubic meters. Thus, the indicators will reach new record levels,” the statement said.
