Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China are preparing a new road transport corridor and have agreed on almost all issues on the construction of a joint railway. This was stated by the head of the government of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov today, April 14, during the opening ceremony of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
“The Kyrgyz Republic is ready to take decisive action to increase the volume of trade. Today, projects for the construction of logistics centers near the Kyrgyz-Uzbek borders are in the active phase of implementation. Particular attention is paid to the construction and launch of a trade and logistics center in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, linking the Fergana and Batken regions “, he noted.
According to Zhaparov, the launch of this trade and logistics center will give a powerful impetus to the development of export-import operations between the countries.
