Uzbekistan plans to boost energy exports to $1.7 bln in 2021
Uzbekistan plans to boost its electricity and energy sector exports to $1.7 billion in 2021 from $1.5 billion in 2020, Energy Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the country has increased energy sector production by 2.2 times for the past five years, and in 2020 it amounted to 45.7 trillion soums ($4.27 billion).
The resource-rich country expects that the energy sector output will be around 45.4 trillion soums ($4.24) in 2021.
