Uzbekistan’s oil refineries increase production by 8% in January
Uzbekistan’s oil refineries have reprocessed 137,900 tonnes of crude oil and increased the production by 8.1 percent in the first month of 2022, the state-owned oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz said.
In January, 86,1000 tonnes of motor gasoline, 5,500 tonnes of jet fuel and 7,400 tonnes of fuel oil were produced. The Bukhara oil refinery has produced 2,800 tonnes of diesel fuel of the ecological category Euro-3, 4 and 5.
The bulk of the oil products was sold at domestic commodity exchange.
Uzbekistan produces refined oil products at two refineries, in Bukhara and Fergana. The Central Asian country also imports them from neighbouring countries.
