Uzhydromet said that there was no dust storm in Tashkent and in the central regions of the republic in the last three days. This is how the department reacted to numerous messages on social networks about dust in the capital and other regions of the country. It turns out that, according to forecasters, people are lying, the Podrobno.uz correspondent reports.
Forecasters noted that against the background of a sharp increase in air temperature on December 1-2 in the republic, there was an increase in wind up to 17-22 m / s. In some areas, wind gusts reached 25-30 m / s. In some places, the increase in wind was accompanied by a dust storm and dusty haze. On December 3, strong winds across the territory of Uzbekistan stopped dust and began to gradually settle.
However, “no strong winds and dust storms were observed in the central regions of the republic and in Tashkent,” the Uzhydromet said.
