The European Union has promised to supply Ukraine with vaccines against the coronavirus, but the country has not yet received the drugs, News.ru reported, citing TASS reports.
This was stated by the President of the State Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Warsaw at an event on the occasion of the 230th anniversary of the first Polish constitution.
Zelensky was reported as stating that Kiev signed agreements on the supply of vaccines with the United States, Great Britain and India. Ukraine should receive 200 million doses of drugs, but only in the third or fourth quarter of 2021. At the same time, less than a million Ukrainians have now received protection, which is very small, given the size of the country, Zelensky concluded.
The day before, the press service of the State Expert Center under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, more than a thousand reports of side effects after vaccination have been received in the country, News.ru said.
